Lacrimate -medical term of crying, which also
refers to non-emotional shedding of 'tears'.

This project came from an episode of my life,
I was advised to cry to get away with trouble.
I started doing research how I can make a fake
cry, and documented the “experiment” in both
still and video format.

I expand my crying experiment, by taking the
fake cry out of studio, and photographing people
cry in different situations in public. I want to blur the boundary between real emotional crying
and fake crying.

This projects contains series of experiments
of crying, aiming to follow a sort of scientific
approach, it is to address in the 19-20th century,
the age of enlightment, scientific was to be
used to explain almost everything and photography
was widely applied during this process.
